ISLAMABAD: Ministry of spiritual Affairs on Saturday announced to start out refunding Hajj dues to all or any applicants for this year from Thursday.
According to a spokesperson of the ministry, the choice has been taken in light of the Saudi government’s decision to carry a limited Hajj this year thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.
The spokesperson said the amounts deposited by hopeful pilgrims are going to be refunded through scheduled banks across the country and every one applicant is going to be informed via SMS.
“Applicants should are the available person to receive the quantity in cash, while group leaders should come to the bank with all original documents of group members just in case of receiving through cheque,” the spokesperson said.
